Faith International Harvest Church
is a pentecostal ministry that is committed to the fulfillment of the great commission of Jesus Christ. We endeavor
to train and develop all who answer the call to salvation to preach with power while
providing liberty for the manifestation of individual gifts and expression of talents.
We are committed to the well-being of the whole man through doctrines, standards
and practices that are grounded in the canons of the Bible and geared to the needs
of a post modern world.
Our ministry carries a special anointing for healthy marriage values, a prayerful
deliverance ministry, teaches the word of God with much clarity and preaches under
the awesome anointing of the Holy Ghost
Church History
It was a cold winter morning with the sun pressing its fiery face against the thick veil of clouds hovering hauntingly above when we first gathered as a church at 1488 Schenectady Avenue, Brooklyn New York. As the first set of parishioners and prospective members entered the cold banquet hall it was all whispers of hope and joy which soon became songs of praise and worship with a lonely guitar strumming to stay above the songs of heavenly choruses. Faith International was now birth and the journey began by faith with Bishop D.G. Collins as Senior Pastor on January 27th 2008 . The Board of Trustee was soon established and the process of incorporation completed soon after.
Services at the banquet hall could only be held twice weekly . But God has been good and just two months later, we acquired a warehouse building at 428 Stanley Avenue and converted it to a church. The work continues. We all labored in one accord with strong support from members and visitors.
Within the first two years we have witnessed several threats but they were always overwhelmed by the great opportunities and miracles God released. Each battle produced more victories and each victory ushered us into greater dimensions. All things working together for good.
Ministry
Several have been baptized in water and filled with the Holy Ghost, Some have answered the call of God into ministry and have been so appointed, licensed, and ordained.
Our mission also extends into Sande Grande and Port of Spain, Trinidad and affiliates already in Haiti and Jamaica West Indies. Our goal is to establish strong international fellowship as we remain prayerful.
Faith International was established by faith and we continue to work steadfastly for the Lord as we continue to grow. Glory to God!!
